Treasury #3 for Vegan Etsy!!!

Right before I was going to turn off the computer and go to bed last night, I thought, "hmmm.... I have a good feeling. I'm going to check the treasury". Well, I was in luck! About ten minutes later, there it was, my very first treasury and Vegan Etsy's third!

It was extremely hard to pick out the items for it, but I was kind of rushed to get to bed, so I couldn't sit and dawdle. Now my goal is to create more Vegan Etsy treasuries so I can have all of our members on one eventually. As most of you know, they're very hard to get, so it's going to be a challenge!

For any members that want to take the time, please check the treasury and make one if the opportunity presents itself. I'd love to see one that features only items that say "vegan" on them and another one that just has vegan food.

This treasury will be up until Wednesday night, so enjoy it while you can!

News & Updates!!

Well, it’s certainly been a very exciting week for Vegan Etsy! I have lots of news and updates to tell everyone about.

Several members will be doing a Meatout promotion in their shops, which will take place this Thursday, March 20. I will be putting up a post here the day before with all of the stores that are doing the promotion. The way this will work is that each member that is participating will decide what kind of promotion they are going to do. They might have a sale, give a larger percentage of their sales for that day to an animal charity or give all of their sales for that day to a charity. They will state at the top of their shop’s intro that they are doing a Meatout promotion and what their promotion is. I think it would also be helpful to provide a link or two about Meatout or something similar, like a link about factory farming. The main goal here is awareness. If you would like your shop to be included, please convo me and ask to be added to the list.

Another member, Michele of Cards and Jewelry by Michele, was featured on Cuteable a few days ago. Congratulations Michele!

Speaking of being featured, Vegan Etsy has been showing up in several places. Team members Susmitha of Art by Susmitha posted about us in her blog . We were also featured on Serious Eats, CreatiVegan and Preraphaelitepunk. Thank you to all for posting about us!!

I sent in all updates for the team page this week, so it should be updated in a week or two. All broken links to stores were included in my requests as well as all new members.

For those that haven't sent me their interviews, please do! This blog has a pretty large readership already and it will only increase, so having your interview posted here will certainly help your business. Plus, I love getting to know everyone a little bit more!

News- Slashfood, Super Vegan & PPK

We've been featured and linked to on a few sites!

The team page is up!

Our team page is (finally) up on etsy! They unfortunately lost or didn't receive my first email, so I had to resubmit the information. As you can see, the banner needs to be fixed, too. It should be the same as the one at the top of this page.

I'll send them updates once a month or so to add new members, so if you don't see your name on the page, don't despair! If you notice that the link to your store is broken, please let me know so that I can pass that onto them when I send them updates.

Our Second Treasury!!!

Thanks so much to Amanda of Vegan Propamanda for creating our second treasury! Only two weeks old and two treasuries already. Now that's teamwork!

News- Store Promotions & we're on Veganbean!

News- Indiepublic Group & 30 members!

Vegan Etsy now has it's own Indiepublic group. If you're already a member there, please join the group. If you're not a member, you should really check it out. It's a great site!

Just this weekend, one week after the group formed, we got our 30th member! We're off to a wonderful start so far, so if you know of anyone that hasn't joined yet but should, please let them know about us.

News- etsy profile and our first treasury!!!

Not even a week old, and Vegan Etsy has it's first treasury, thanks to Susmitha of Art by Susmitha. Thank you Susmitha!!! There have been a lot of comments on it, but please feel free to add some yourself.

We also have an Etsy profile now! Every member's store is hearted & items from each store are added in the favorites. If you would like the code for an etsy mini for any of your sites, please convo me and I'll be happy to send it to you.
