Happy Thanksgiving - and Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all here in the U.S., and to all of our readers around the world. This is a great day to give thanks and to celebrate animals. And who better to revere than the amazing Turkey? Fantastic senior team member Pippi Howard of Vegan Bliss shared this great video with the team, a PBS special called My Life as a Turkey. It is a perfect way to begin to appreciate the depth of these creatures. While wild turkeys are in fact very different from those being "raised for food", domesticated turkeys are just as complex and wonderful - as anyone at farm animal sanctuaries around the world can tell you.
