Several Vegan Etsy members are doing a team promotion for World Farm Animals Day from October 1 thru October 7. What this involves is that each member who is participating will be having their choice of promotion in their shop, which can range from a sale to donating a percentage of their sales to an animal charity. "WORLD FARM ANIMALS DAY, observed on (or around) October 2nd, is a time dedicated to exposing, mourning, and memorializing the needless suffering and slaughter of the more than 55 billion cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, and other sentient land animals in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses. It is a time for all to speak out against the atrocities and brutalization of animals raised for meat, eggs, and dairy."
Our team has a member that has her own sanctuary, For The Animals! To read her story, check out her shop for links to it as well as a video. All proceeds from her lovely shop go to the sanctuary.

I am very happy to be a part of helping the farm animals of the world! It's really wonderful to see so many Vegan Etsy team members come togethter for such an important cause!

I have been trying to promote this event as much as I can - like in my own personal blog, my blog and bulletins at myspace, my Etsy shop info, etc... in hopes that it will help the animals even more and bring more exposure to World Farm Animals Day.
ps. Molly - Emma looks so cute in the pictures in your etsy-mini. She's such a goreous and photogenic dog :)
